Gymdawwwwwwwwgs.

'Kay. I'm going freshmen to seniors for this time.

Gina Nuccio- Hurt her knee in warm-ups. I was over in the reporting section for warm-ups, which is like RIGHT there on vault, and saw her do it. Georgia Gymnastics quotes; "Freshman Gina Nuccio hyperextended her right knee in pre-meet warm-ups and did not compete. She was replaced on the uneven bars by Sessler and on the balance beam by Ding." Unquote. I'm glad that she didn't do anything serious..She had to be carried off the floor.

Kathryn Ding: Good vault, took off the table pretty low on the yurchenko full and her chest was low, as well. Bars was good, I really like her full-thatchev. and a Did an amazing job stepping up as the anchor on beam. Woot.

Mariel Box- El No compete-eo.

Amber Trani- No compete-eo. But I'm friends with her on FB, so I might be able to get an interview.

Hilary Mauro- Missed some geingers in bars warm-ups. GREAT beam set, that punch front is ah-mazing.

Cassidy McComb- Didn't go for the Yurchenko 1.5 on vault, good beam set, solid landings. Floor...didn't go for the full-in, almost fell on her butt on the 1.5 to front tuck.

Grace Taylor- Nice bars, struggled on the inside stalder, kind of arched a bit on the overshoot. Nice beam, added a layout step-out after the heel-stretch, front aerial. Beam would have been a ten had she not had a weeny wobble on the leg-up full turn. Floor was amazing, one of her bests. Kind of "Pogoed" out of the whip-through to double-pike. Nice ending 2.5.

Marcia Newby- Great vault, almost stuck. 9.9, I believe. Good bars, high thatchev.

Courtney McCool- Throwing full-thatchevs in warm-ups, and caught a couple of geingers and overshoots.

Lauren Sessler- Great bars set, to stand in for G.

Lauren Johnson- Great vault warm-ups was sticking the half ons to double pikes left and right. Ditto with the interview thing.

Tiffany Tolnay- No 1.5 yurchenko. Fell on overshoot on bars. Nice, hit, beam set, her front tucks are looking better and better, good floor, deep in the double arabian. nice ending double pike.

Courtney Kupets- Gave me her AA rose. :) It was sweet. Nice vault, not stuck. Bars was good, didn't hit the overshoot handstand, step on double layout. Great beam, little wobble before the gainer full dismount. Nice floor, just a step back on double arabian.

Paige burns- No compete-eo.

Abby Stack- Good floor! Overrotated the triple a bit. Nice double full to front tuck.

So. Good meet overall.

  2. Just a small correction. Cassidy did a 2.5 twist to punch front on the FX not a 1.5 twist

  3. When was this meet? The Gym Dog meet I saw on Sunday, Kupets got a 10 on Bars&Beam and Courtney McCool didn't compete.
