She'll flip into your heart.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! :) Click on the pic to make it bigger. :)

Injuries galore!

I have my sources. lol.

Apparently the new rules are requiring, well, read this;

The girls were being asked to STICK their tumbling passes. Mattie was looking amazing. Stuck her passes. Her coach said NO more. BARTA and Steve made her do another one (her last tumbling pass) and when she landed she sprained BOTH ANKLES. She has been sent home early. She went to the hospital and they said no broken bones but definitely sprained ligaments. Before the injury Mattie was looking phenomenal and hitting everything.

Lunging after a tumbling pass is now considered a step and the gymnast could be deducted anywhere from .1 to .3.

Wow....That's just retarded. Way to make the sport die out for aspiring girls even more than it already has. *claps*

What do you guys think on this matter?

Newwwwww montage. :)

She's amazing. and I love her. :) To comment/rate (only if you wanna) click this ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPQcWoUqMSw

Shawn Johnson-The Drop Out.

So there was an article (I can't find it now) saying that Shawn Johnson, 2008 Olympic Champion and 3 time silver medalist, has decided to drop out of high school to take online courses.

What. the. holy. beejezzus.

I know she was quoted saying "I will return to Valley high School for my senior year-no matter what."

Well, apparently, that's down the crapper.

*Claps* Nice, Shawn. Nice.

You never know you've hit the big time 'till...

an ad at the top of your blog comes up! WAHOO. :D

Vote for Nastia. Please? PLEASE? I'm begging you.

At least she doesn't demand votes like Shawn does. She nicely asks "Vote for me please" while Shawn is like,; "VOTE FOR ME! GET EVERYONE TO VOTE FOR ME! NEH NEH NEH!"

In the words of one of my friends; "We can't let Shawn and her dictatorship win!"

pahaa.

Go vote.

Why are you still reading this?

You should be voting.

Go.

Away.

Please.

Go Vote.

Seriously? You're STILL reading this?

My god.

Kawwwwwtney Kooopets + Make it Or Break it.

Courtney Kupets won some kind of other award-big surprise. lol. Congrats to her though for being the naturally butt-kicking gymnast she was born to be. 8-)

Make it or break it (i hate that name-it should be called Train hard or go home) was extremely soap opera ish.

Yeahh, i dont feel like blogging.

Chat Box

So I added a chat box to He Kexin = 14 just to test it out so gym fans could talk with other gym fans! :)

Please refrain from spamming, profanity or any other material that's inappropriate.

Let me know what y'all think!

The girl I call Mini Nastia.

Mayelin van der Meer is an amazing lil gymnast! I was bored as death and came across this video and just fell in love with her. (: She's such a cutie!!!!

Amazing little girl! If she cleans up her tumbling a bit and gets better choreography, she could totally pwn the gymnastics world!

Shawn Johnson "Put Down".

So, the 'Onion News Network' recently parodied our lovely lil SJ.

Gymnast Shawn Johnson Put To Sleep After Breaking Leg

Honestly, what the crap? That was kinda mean. She's not a horse. People need to think of other people's feelings before they make up stuff like that.

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Shawn and Nastia-hmmm.

So. I've recently read this little snidbit of an article where Shawn Johnson claims that she was an "Outcast" on the 08 Olympic Team.

Read below.

There's one offer "Dancing With the Stars" winner Shawn Johnson will not
be entertaining in her post-show career: singing on "American Idol." "I
met Randy Jackson, and he asked me to sing on 'American Idol,'" she told
Us magazine. "I was like, 'Um, I'll stick to dancing.''"

Whether she sticks to gymnastics remains to be seen. Since Johnson took
home the "Dancing" trophy, she's been offered book and movie deals, but
is on the fence about competing in the 2012 London Olympics.

"(On the 2008 Olympic team) I was an outcast," Johnson told the
magazine. "I was the youngest, led a normal life and, I hate to say it,
I was good. It's kind of a jealousy thing. Then when I got ('Dancing
With the Stars'), it was hard because it was (teammate) Alicia
(Sacramone)'s dream to be on it."

Currently, Johnson is currently a high school junior and tells Us she's
"always wanted to go to Stanford or UCLA."

wtf? What happened to being a "Family" and crap?

Then again, Nastia, Sam, Shayla, Jana or Bridget or Alicia aren't following Shawn on Twitter.

Nor is Shawn following any of the listed above.

Hmmmmm. ;) This is such a juicy story! It's like Gossip Girl! Only in gymnastics. So. I guess Gossip Gymnasts? idk.

Innnn other news, Nastia was a chairman or something amazing like that for the Dallas Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. =D =D =D

I'm very happy about that.

Bridget sloan and Samantha Peszek, both from the 'Nap were some kinda honary guests or something at the Indy 500.

That's pretty cool.

In montageing news.

So sorry about the delay! I had to download a lot of footage for this upcoming montage and I'm about 15 seconds in!!! (:

Dream Team, yo.

Okie dokie. Im bored and can't sleep.

I've noticed a lot of blogs have been chioosing their "Dream Teams". The following one is for Olympics, 2012 POSSIBLY.

I honestly don't care about technicalities and crap I'm just having fun with it. I know there will be mistakes. So don't tell me. I already know. rawr.

Without further adieu..I give you my...DREAM TEAM. (Be afraid. These girls can kick yo ass.)

We all know she won DWTS, so I'm not going to linger on that. Woo, yay shawnie!!! :D

'Lil Lizzy Leduc won JO Nationals! YAY, LIZZY!

Two time defending JO Champion (2007 & 2008) Liz Green from Texas Dreams lost her title, though. Sad day.

Incoming Gymdog Freshman Noel Couch won JO Nationals.

He Kexin = 14...Now hiring.

Hiya.

Well, I've decided I abosolutely suck at following international gymnastics. If you're interested in being He Kexin = 14's International Reporter, covering all international competetions outside of the U.S., give me a holla.

E-mail me at merebear514@tds.net stating why you want to help out with He Kexin = 14, a writing sample covering a made up competetion of your choice (lol that one's optional), and also if you have any common knowledge of gymn. If you e-mail me and you're like "Oh, well, I know how to describe that one flippy thingy", consider yourself not hired, haha.

You can also leave a comment. :)

Please keep in mind that I will still be covering US gymnastics, and also Gymdog updates and whatnot. I just need a helper with international gymnastics!

Thanks!

P.S.- You will be given credit for everything you report! I'm not a credit hog! Promise!

Oh, and you won't be getting paid, haha.

"I was a dreamer before you went and let me down."

I'm aware it's a depressing title. But it's what I'm feeling and every blog has got to have a 'lil bit of emotional baggage to it, no? I mean, I AM a girl. Boys suck. If you are having boy dramarama, go listen to Taylor Swift. I've lsitened to her before, but at this particular bump in the road-that-is-my-life, I JUST started really having an attachment to these songs. So yeah.

Back to why y'all are here.

GYMNASTICS! Everyone's favorite drug. ;) Haha. More Anti-drug. Cuz you can't really take drugs if you're a gymnast. Unless it's motrin. *Cough*Or-andrea-raducunn*Cough*

Shawny Johnson made the final four for Dancing With The Stars. Which is rigged because Chuck Wicks should still be there. DARN YOU, TY! If she can't win, tho, I want Gilles. That one particular boy does nawt suck. Hahahaha. ;-) I've been trying to vote, but Dial up won't let me.

BUTTTTT

I'm getting HIGHSPEED INTERNET Monday!! for my birthday, which is that Thursday! :) So I'll be posting NBC coverage of event finals and whatnot.

Alright, sorry, this is kinda a personal blog haha, what do you expect, a girl pissed at a boy who has access to 10 + blog readers to rant at.

Chowy Chow's (Say that fast, it's fun) is going to host the '09 US Classic. wth...thought those were done?

THERE YOU ARE ON YOUR KNEES BEGGIN FOR FOGIVENESS BEGGIN FOR MEEEEEEE.

K, sorry.

The USA girlys are competeting in France tomorrow! Woo, go USA, Those frenchies are french toast.

Haha, crack myself up. :)

Hmm, what else.

Boys suck? Oh wait, covered that.

Kay, just go read this Ten Question interview with Shawn Johnson.

I'm outttt.

<3
I love you guys more than I love boys!!! :D

Laugh your gymnastics off!

I was bored.

Way to cream 'em, ladies!

Sounds like the USA Gymnasts beat Germany! Can I get a woo woo?

Results courtesy of the Inside Gymnastics Twitter.

USA women defeat Germany (232.4-219.7).

USA took top 5 AA spots: (They haven't "Tweeted" the other AA finishers.)

Bridget Sloan, 59.55 (Pft, we all knew she would win.)
Corrie Lothrop, 56.5 (I want her to go to Georgia. But whateverrr, Utah is cool, too.)
Mackenzie Caquatto, 56.4 (Hmm. I think Ilike her.)

I'm going to go watch the Hannah Montana (Like the show, I don't like her!!!) marathon as my Ulead free trial downloads. I may get a different video editing program to make montages on for my birthday (which is in 12 days.).

So yeah.

Bye lol

If anyone finds other results freaking post it in the comments section.

Kthx.

Super Six-intro.

Woo woo!

Here's part of Super Six..It's basically just the intro, I'm planning on covering the rest of prelims, then onto Team Finals, AA finals, FX finals..etc., etc.,..I'd looove some of y'alls feedback!

EXCERPT COPYRIGHT (C) 2009 TO MEREDITH (Last name withheld for saftey).

"Owwww." Samantha Peszek screeched, lying on the floor, gripping her ankle. Shawn Johnson, the reigning all-around world champion jogged over timidly, helping Sam up. Nastia Liukin, current beam world champion took over from there, guiding a limping Sam off the podium. Alicia Sacramone, another fellow world champion looked on at Sam sympathetically, wishing she could give her a huge hug. But, this was the Olympics...Team Preliminaries, to be exact. Alicia couldn't do anything except for warm up the rest of her tumbling. With a sigh, Alicia ran towards the corner, flipping into a two and half twist to front layout. She flew out of bounds. "Ughh." Alicia moaned, throwing her head back. Nastia stood absentmindedly in the corner, trying to focus on what was ahead. Sam was going to be an All-Arounder, and was really focused on proving that she could hit. Nastia knew what it was like having an unexpected injury at the worst possible time. Bridget Sloan, another world championship team member was going to have to step up, due to Chellsie Memmel, a 2003 and 2005 world champion injuring her ankle. Nastia just prayed that her ankle held up. Shawn was doing her best at blocking out all the distractions. hitting powerful tumbling runs, but yet, coming close to the boundaries of the floor. Bridget was having difficulty with her tumbling, considering now Team USA needed to count all 4 scores, after losing two of their best floor workers. Nastia flipped into a front handspring double front, and landed well, just with a slight knee bend. Sam was out of the meet, except for bar. She bit back the tears and stood quietly next to Chellsie, both of them silently agreeing that they were "Injury Buddies". Sam looked up at her mother, Luan, in the stands, who was wiping her eyes, looking so sad. "I'm Sorry." Samantha mouthed to her, eyes pleading for some sort of love, wishing that she could run up into the stands and crawl into her mother's lap. Before long, it was time for the meet to begin. Nastia stood away from the floor, breathing in and out slowly, running through the routine in her head. Alicia gripped Samantha's hand tightly, assuring her it would be okay. Chellsie stood rigidly, glancing at all the other teams. Shawn hopped up and down, attempting to forget everything and just do what she loved most. She was here...the hard part was over. Bridget climbed up onto the podium and shifted her weight from one foot to another. She was proud that she had even made it to the team, after tearing her meniscus in early April. She was going to let it go, and give it her all. The judges saluted and Bridget struck her first pose. As soon as the music started, she flew into her dance gracefully, forgetting it all. She hit her one point five through to triple twist, and smiled happily. The rest of the of the routine went well, until Bridget stepped out of bounds. She scowled fiercely, hitting her final pose. Brdiget quickly walked off the floor, embarrassed for herself and her teammates. Wha happened to "Stepping Up"? Bridget thought to herself. Then again, She continued. You can't always be perfect. Bridget concluded that she would hit the next event, vault, to try to "redeem" herself. Alicia followed Bridget, and went out of bounds, which cost her so much. Not only did she need to help USA qualify for team finals, but she wanted to try to win an individual medal, as well. But after her under par performance, it was not going to happen. Nastia hugged Alicia quickly, ready for her shot. Marta had told her to calm out this team, that she had the power to do it, seeing as she had competed under tons of pressure previously. Nastia saluted and walked onto the floor. Her floor music, "Dark Eyes", began and she turned on her famous look. She danced to the corner, and ran for her first pass. She smiled a tad when she stayed in bounds, and landed solidly on her feet. Nastia threw her head back into a graceful move, and was ready for another tumbling pass. No trouble there. Nastia landed the double front perfectly, just slightly cowboyed. The two major ones were over, but Nastia was still worried. The third pass was the one she had difficulty on before, either going out of bounds, or falling completely. She breathed in after a long dance sequence and ran into the dreaded third pass. She flirted with the white tape on the edges, but managed to keep it in. She grinned, dancing yet again. All that was left was her two and a half twist, the ending pass. As expected, she hit, and fell to the ground for her final pose happily, pleased with her efforts. She clapped hands with Shawn as Nastia made her way off the podium. Marta hugged Nastia, praising her as Nastia smiled up at her Dad in the stands. It was a new environment to her, not having her father, Valeri with her. "Good girl." Marta finished, patting Nastia's back. Marta turned her attention to Shawn who was all ready on the floor, awaiting her music. "come on, Shawn!" Nastia called out lightly, still out of breath. Shawn hit as she always did, and as her music, a song from her favorite movie August Rush (Which the girls had been forced to watch may times at camp by a pleading Shawn) came to an end. Shawn was all smiles, jogging off the podium, not even out of breath. She looked as if she had just taken a brisk walk. Team USA had been centered, and it was time to rotate. "We can do it." Alicia said with a grin, trying to overcome what had happened. "YEAH!" Shawn screamed, still rushing on the adrenaline. Everybody huddled together and started to giggle for no apparent reason. Maybe it was the fact that out of a million aspiring gymnasts (if not more) the were truly the Super Six chosen for the Olympic Team. And who wouldn't smile about that?

Montaging

So, according to my Friend, Amber, montaging has become too much of a competition.

Really? Why do we do this to ourselves?? It started out as a fun thing to do, and now it's Quote; "Become who can top who." Unquote.

Honestly, I'm disgusted with it. Come on. We're not going to win anything if we're the best montager on Youtube. It's just something to have fun with and express your creativity & show people how the gymnasts really inspire you.

Ugh.

In other news, I'm trying a hand at writing Gymn fan fic by myself. I'm writing a little story called "Super Six", and HOPEFULLY plan to post a little bit today.

Oh, and I'm removing the Twitter feed, because some people have claimed that it asks for an API e-mail and password. I've gotten it, too, I'm so sorry about that! It could have done serious damange to y'all's computers..holy crap. lol.

You can just find me at twitter.com/merebearrr

I'll accept all follow requests, I was just afraid of spammers and other stupid crap.

Thanks!

And it's my mom's birthday..woo woo!

Are Nationals here yet? + US Classic

New poll: Do you want to see live blogging for Nationls, like what I did with the American Cup?

I wish 09 Nationals would hurry the poop up already. I'm ready for my Nastia to get back out there..I'm practically dying to see the new floor routine...and she's even taunting us.

From her website:

Training is going really well, getting back in the swing of things and i THINK I may have found my new music But I’m going to keep it a surprise until its all done. :)

See!?! Oh, well. Absensce makes the heart grow fonder..but not in this case. It just makes the Meredith impatient.

And, also, I was browsing USA Gymnastics today, and I came accross this Ad for Nationals:

So, um, why are they advertising 09 Nats with Shawn? She's ahbviously not going to be there.

Also on USA Gymn, I found an article about the US Classic..woop.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., April 5, 2009 – Ashley Stott of Temecula, Calif./Precision Gymnastics, and McKenzie Wofford of Spring, Texas/Stars Gymnastics Training Center-Houston, won the senior and junior all-around titles, respectively, at the 2009 American Classic, held April 4 in San Diego, Calif. The American Classic was a qualifying meet for the 2009 Visa Championships, scheduled for Aug. 12-15 in Dallas, Texas.

*Sigh* I guess I'll just sit here and waste away while waiting for 09 Nationals.
Happy gymnasticsing.

Saint Sacramone & Lizzy Leduc.

I love Alicia. She seems like a wonderful person to be around.

2008 Olympic silver medalist Alicia Sacramone was in the Dallas area on March 29-30 to promote the upcoming Visa Championships which will take place August 12-15 at the American Airlines Center. While in town, Sacramone visited the Level 9/10 State Gymnastics meet at Texas Dreams Gymnastics where she signed autographs and handed out awards to the up and coming gymnasts.

On Monday, Sacramone stopped by the Children’s Medical Center to say hi to the kids, parents, and staff. The trip continued with visits to two local gymnastics clubs, Empire Gymnastics and Sunbelt Gymnastics where she interacted with young gymnasts, signed autographs, and took pictures with the groups and teams.

07 Nats..part two.

Yay. No stealing this or I'm suing. Part three....COMING SOON TO A BLOG NEAR YOU.

Nastia tightened her ponytail making her way to the end of the vault runway. Warmups had concluded disastrously, with Nastia barely making it to her feet every vault she performed. But she was notorious for pulling her skills out when it was time to compete, so Valeri was a mixture of nerves and excitement. Nastia was feeling the same. Nastia blew on her tiger paws as she awaited the judges. She heard the crowd. Saw Valeri pacing. Smelled the scent of lingering chalk. Her eyes trailed back to the center of her focus. In the corner of her eyes, she saw the judge's green flag fly up. Nastia saluted, and brought her arms down. She shifted her weight, and rubbed her hands on her thighs. One quick exhale, and she was off. Her ankle throbbed as she sprinted down the runway, but she tried to ignore it, tried to focus on the vault ahead. She executed a roundoff onto the mat, hit the springboard with force, and arched back onto the table. She blocked off, and twisted in the air, legs slightly crossed. She landed with a thud, and squatted down onto her ankles. "Ugh." She whispered to herself, bouncing up again, feeling a nagging pain in her ankle. Nastia faced the judges, half heartdedly nodded and walked off the podium. Nastia didn't speak to Valeri, nor did she let him comfort her. She was not pleased with her performance, and knew she'd half to pull out spectacular routines to beat Shawn, and come out with a win. Nastia walked towards her gym bag, Valeri following her. Once she stopped walking so she could dig through her bag for her grips, Valeri patted her back. "The worst event is over. It's okay. You've got 3 of your best coming up." Nastia just sighed, and sunk down in her seat, grips in hand. She watched as her teammates, one by one, started their bid at a national championship title. Nastia loved them with all her heart, (Except for one!), but really wanted it for herself. She wanted to prove that she wasn't to old, she wasn't as inconsistent as they thought she was, and that she still had her strength, talent and passion. She wanted them to do their best, though. Nastia didn't want to in knowing that she was only first because somebody else had messed up. The clock ticked slowly while Nastia awaited the second rotation. Finally, after Alicia had competed vault, it was time to move to the next event. Bars. Nastia's best and personal favorite. She had regained some confidence after her vault, seeing as some girls only went for Yurchenko fulls. Nastia had an extra half twist...with an injury, so she was fairly proud of herself. But she still knew that it wasn't her best, and she needed to step up her game. She would shine on bars. Steal the show. Whatever needed to happen for her to get the lead. She was way behind in the standings, but she knew she would regain some spots with her huge start value on bars. The squad reported to the judges, read to begin their touch warmups. Nastia was second in line for warmups and third for competition. After the new senior in front of her dismounted, Nastia kipped up. During the break in between rotations, she had iced her ankle, and them taped it up extremely tight, so she wouldn't have to be in too much pain until that night, so her toeshoot up to the highbar wasn't as painful as the timed warmups. She executed a perfect ono and a half straight to laid out geinger, hit her pak salto dead on, and was ready for her dismount, a double front. She had gone through such a growth spurt that she couldn't do her double layout anymore, or basically any skill that involved a roundoff, backhandspring, as it was so difficult to get herself catapulted into the air. Nastia turned into a blind change, and let go at the height of the bar, flipping in a tucked position. She landed, and fell straight onto her bottom. "Do it again, next turn. And only the dismount." Valeri said, focusing on Christa who was in the middle of a jeager. Nastia nodded silently, adjusting her grips. She chalked up and got back in line, waiting her turn with her hands on her back. She rolled her ankle, nervously glancing around the arena. When she was finally up there was 15 seconds left on the official warmup clock, so she had to hurry. She didn't even do a toeshoot up to the highbar, she simply climbed up and kipped to handstand. She executed another blind change, and hurled herself into the air. The buzzer for the clock went off as soon as she hit the ground. Valeri shook his head at Nastia, who was on her butt, yet again. "Come on. Pull it out when it's your turn." Nastia nodded again, standing up slowly. She was in shock. She didn't get why everything was turning out this way. Training had been going great, there were no major flaws to speak of, but yet when it counted most, Nastia was making mistake after mistake, which frustrated her. She walked around as the other girls competed on bars. Nastia paced, fiddling with her grips, trying to calm her nerves, and her pain. Before she knew it, it was her turn. The judges saluted her quickly, and Nastia wasted no time getting on the bars, except to blow on her hands. Everything went smoothly, and Nastia couldn't help but crack a smile after she kipped up from a perfect pak salto. Then she remembered the dismount, and stopped, focusing on what she needed to do. "Release above the high bar, don't open up too late or too early, make sure to stay tucked." Nastia told herself in her mind, preparing herself for the skill she had so much trouble with. For the third time in a 20 minute period, Nastia flipped into a blind change. She released well above the bar, and opened up at the perfect time. But what sealed her fate was having her chest down. She rolled forward, onto to her back. She sat there for a moment, contemplating what had happened. Valeri was standing there, ready for her to get up. Nastia quickly stood up, turning to the judges. She walked off with Valeri in tow, biting her lip. "I can't believe it." Nastia said to no one in particular. "Me either." Valeri replied, glancing at Nastia, then adverting his stare. Nastia blew out a sigh exasperatedly. This was not going as planned. The rest of the rotation flew by, and Nastia was ready for beam. Her ankle said otherwise. "Shut up." She mumbled to it as she was lined up with the flight for touch warmups. Beam warmups were okay, Nastia only had difficulty making the triple twist dismount all the way around. "Want to throw a two point five?" Valeri asked, looking worried. "No." Nastia snapped. "I want to go all out." "Mmmkay." Valeri agreed, then continued to give Christa a correction on her flight series. Nastia closed her eyes and breathed in and out. Warmups finished, and Nastia had been placed first in the lineup. She walked around the podium, chalking her hands and feet, preparing herself. Nastia turned around from the spot of chalk on the mat, to face the judges. She saluted and turned around once more, to place her hands over the beam. Nastia pressed to handstand. She could feel everyone watching her, expecting her to make a mistake. She continued and danced through her routine. Coming up to her leap series, there had been no major mistakes except for a bobble on her flight series, a front aerial to backhandspring layout stepout to a whip back. Nastia leaned forward going into the dismount, and blocked off of the end off the beam, flying into a triple. She landed and pushed forward, almost hitting her head on the beam. Another mistake. Just when she thought things were turning around. Nastia spun around and saluted to the judges, then made her way off the podium. Valeri and Nastia walked by the NBC commentator's booth, and Nastia couldn't help but overhear. "There she goes." Elfi said in a hushed tone. "Right you are, Elfi." Tim continued. "She's just faltering on every event." "Maybe she should just give this up..she is not in competitive form right now." Al finished, before Nastia hurried away, fighting back tears. "Come on, Nastia." Valeri said softly. "It's okay." Nastia started to breathe hard, trying the control her emotions. "Good girl." Valeri whispered, stroking her back. The warmup timer let all the gymnasts know to take the podium for the final warmup of the evening. Nastia ran into her first pass, and fell onto her back. She waited in the corner, fidgeting with her ponytail, and rubbing her head. Nastia's warmups concluded with a finally hit double front. She made her way off the podium, nervosuly awaiting her turn. She fidgeted in her seat, stood up and paced, trying to loosen up her ankle. Her turn finally came, and she nervously climbed the stairs that lead to the floor. She swiped her hands through the chalk, and glanced over at the judges. Nastia closed her eyes and blew out a long breath, trying to focus. She opened her eyes to a short female judge with her hand raised. Nastia saluted and walked out onto the floor. She struck her starting pose, and waited for the music. Before she knew it, Nastia was in the corner, ready for her first tumbling pass. She ran fast, and flew into the air, but came down, and had to scramble to get back up. She went through the rest of a routine with a scowl on her face. "I should have been able to save it." Nastia thought to herself, obviously not happy. "I guess I'll just have to do better tomorrow." Nastia said to herself after finishing the routine. She limped off the podium, grabbed her backpack and trudged out of the arena with a huff, Valeri following her. "I suck at this. I can't do it." Valeri closed his eyes and sighed. "I..I just can't." Nastia finished. Valeri opened his eyes, and placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her from walking any further. "I now you can. Come on, babygirl, you can." Nastia shook her head and walked off into the the dark parking lot, in search for the SUV.

Holy flipping.....

Our Shawn Johnson was almost kidnapped and/or attacked. (My mom won't let me say the other things.)

Wow.

Excerpt from Fox News/TMZ. All copyright to them.

A man authorities say tried to break onto the set of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" to meet Shawn Johnson has been charged with one felony count of stalking and two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm.

Court records show a restraining order was previously issued against Robert O'Ryan, who was arrested by Los Angeles police on Tuesday. According to documents that accompanied the restraining order application, O'Ryan was stopped by security at CBS Studios, the lot where "Dancing With the Stars" is staged, after he jumped on a fence on Monday afternoon.

Police later searched his car and found a shotgun and handgun — both loaded — as well as duct tape and love letters.

Wow. Poor thing. To read more of the story click HERE. (I like the pic of her next to the story.)

07 Nats Part 1

This part in Gymnastia is focused on 2007 Nationals.

Comment, fools! haha.

Nastia rolled her ankle around as she flew above Arizona. Her ankle had been cramping and aching all day. "Come on, just go away for two days, please." Nastia muttered, leaning her head back in the seat. Trying to ignore the stabbing pains, Nastia grabbed her Ipod out of the pink backpack on the floor. Valeri came back from the bathroom, and scooted in towards Nastia. She curled up into him and slowly drifted off to sleep. "Come on, get up!" Valeri shook Nastia, who groaned and rolled over. Then she opened her eyes in realization. It was Nationals. But..wait..her ankle...it throbbed with pain. But sheh ad to work through it. She couldn't give up after everything she'd been through. She got up, grabbing her bag and took a few steps before collapsing in the middle of the aisle. Well…this was embarrassing. Her ankle protested with sharp shooting pains all the way up her leg. She groaned. “Come on!” she felt the tears stinging. “I’m not even off the stupid plane!” She slapped the floor of the plane and attempted to push herself up, but failed, falling back down again. She cloShe practically screamed in frustration. She was sick of this. Sick of the pain, the frustration, the waiting on the side lines while everyone passed her by. Valeri looked down at her sympathetically. Nastia breathed in quickly, and grabbed the arm rests of two chairs, using them to hoist herself up. Valeri shook his head thoughtfully. "Are..are you sure you're ready?" He asked hesitantly. Nastia turned around, her eyes practically spitting fire. "Okay." Valeri threw his hands up, assuming that Nastia's look had been a "Yes". Nastia left indentation marks on her bottom lip, due to biting down as she made her way off the plane. After dropping off their things at the hotel, they headed over to the arena for a final practice. Girls and their coaches were already there, testing out the equipment and chatting on the sidelines. That same new girl from last years nationals, who had been a junior then, was there. Nastia bit down on her lip again as she made her way towards the chairs on the side. She glared at the young girl, knowing she could definitely beat her, even with this injury. She was the new kid on the block…this was Nastia’s third year as senior. She’d show her. Nastia chatted with Alicia for a bit and they took silly pictures. Nastia didn't want to look at the camera as Alicia kept coaxing her. "Pleaseeee?" Alicia begged. Nastia laughed then her expression turned serious. "NO." Soon enough, the "mock meet" started, and all the girls lined up. Nastia would be first up on vault. She closed her eyes and blew on her tiger paw protected hands. "Come on." Nastia whispered to herself. As soon as she made her trek down the vault runway, sharp, shooting pains flew up her ankle. But Nastia wasn't going to stop. She ran the remainder and focused intently. As soon as her feet hit the springboard, the ankle protested in pain and Nastia fell heavily onto the table. She had absolutely no power and had to just do a simple tucked Yurchenko. She could see Valeri after she landed, looking angry, but yet sympathetic. She continued her recent habit of biting her lip as she made her way off the podium. "I'm sorry." Nastia said, her voice cracking. "It's okay. You'll do okay on bars." Valeri said weakly, with a pat on the back, and a kiss on the forehead. Nastia sighed as she sat down, watching the rest of the practice commence. She watched as the new senior girl, Shawn, hit a perfect double twisting yurchenko. Nastia sunk lower in her seat with a huff, but sat up straight while Aliciaexecuted a perfect fronthandspring rudi. "Nice, LEEEEESH," Nastia cheered from the sidelines. As Alicia came off the floor, she clapped hands with her and pulled her into a tight hug. Alicia was amazing at vault. Nastia would do anything to be able to perform like she did. “Hey, don’t worry about it, Nas,” she heard Alicia say with a pat on the back, “You’ll nail it tomorrow. How’s the ankle?” Nastia cringed, answering her question. Alicia kissed her forehead. “You’ll pwn bars.” "Phew." Nastia wiped sweat off her forehead in disbelief. "I guess so." Nastia sat alone during most of the bars roation where she had been placed last. She thought about her routine, going over it countless times in her head, all while trying not to believe that there was a pain in her ankle that she'd never felt. It hurt worse than anything. Nastia groaned and lifted up, walking around the arena, trying to calm herself, and stretch out the ankle. Before she knew it. it was time. She blew the chalk off of her hands and kipped up to handstand. Nastia closed her eyes in pain as she executed a toeshoot. Nastia breathed as she felt the skinny bar in her grasp. Kip, cast, blind change, elgrip, inward stalder, COME ON NAST. Nastia screamed at herself, trying to get in gear. Once she felt the hit handstand, she knew. But then she arched a tiny bit. "Crap." Nastia thought. She pulled the handstand back, and twisted into the blind change. Nastia seemed to glide through the air, capturing the attention of every spectator, coach and gymnast. She pulled in on the pak salto a tad, but quickly recovered and turned into the half piroutte. One last blind change and Nastia hurled herself into the air, flipping twice before landing on the ground with a BOOM. At first, Nastia thought she had a stick, but then, her ankle completely gave out and she fell straight onto her back. As she got up to salute to the judges, Nastia bit her lip once again and had a twisted expression on her face. Valeri patted her back, looking dissapointed, but semi-proud. "I'm glad you got up there." "Ha." Nastia laughed in his face. "If I can't do it well, why do it at all." Valeri drew back, surprised at Nastia's outburst. Nastia rubbed her palms on her thighs as she removed her grips. She marched over to beam with her head held high, pleased about the high bar score she sill had received. "Hmph." Nastia thought to herself as she glanced sidewards at her. Nastia climbed up onto the podium, blocking out all noises. She lifted her chin up as she placed her hands on the beam. Nastia pressed onto the beam, clenching her face in pain from jumping off of the ankle. "Breathe" Nastia whispered herself, as she cut through placing her legs on the beam, facing the judges. She mounted up and danced into place for her flight series. It took everything for her not to scream as she landed from the front aerial. But she trucked through it, landing the series with a slight bobble. Nastia somehow heard nervous clapping from below from Valeri who was pacing around nervously, hands on hips leaning with every move his daughter performed. She madei t through all the major tricks, flew through the leap series and then it was time to dismount. Nastia was so high on adrenaline and so proud of herself, she couldn't feel the ankle swelling, throbbing or searing. She catapulted herself up into the air. THUD. Cheering. She had stuck the dismount. Nastia was deaf to it all, despite the major accomplishment. She was overwhelmed with pain, and sat onto the ground, clutching her ankle. Everyone grew silent for a minute, but then she grasped the beam, pulling herself up. Nastia limped off of the podium, and passed by her father without a sound. Valeri looked concerned. "Come on." He patted her lightly on the piece of paper clipped to her back. It was worn, but still held up. Number 2. When Nastia had gotten the number she had stared at it, looking confused. "Well, then." She had stated. "I'll just have to show the person who enters gymnasts in these things that I'm number one." Valeri had snorted and whisked her off to where they were now. "Come on." Valeri repeated. "One more event left." Nastia looked up from removing ankle tape. "No." She said softly. "I can't." Valeri blinked. "I've got to save what strength I have in my ankle for prelims tomorrow." "Okay." Valeri said. Nastia was surprised at how quickly he had agreed. She had been ready to argue. "I'll go tell Marta." Nastia nodded as she watched him circle around the arena searching for the coach. Nastia leaned back in her chair, letting out a deep sigh of relief. She got 20 hours without gymnastics. She usually looked forward to meets, but with her injury, she dreaded them. It wasn't the gymnastics, in fact, it was the pain she felt everytime she executed a skill. Nastia knew she would do well tomorrow though. She just did. Valeri came back, and grabbed Nastia's hand, pulling her up. She slung her backpack over her shoulders and walked away from the gym, waving bye to all the gymnasts except for Shawn, who was up at that very moment on beam. "Ugh." Nastia moaned as Shawn nailed everything in her routine. "Stop it." Valeri ordered quietly with a twinkle in his eye. Nastia giggled. 15 minutes later, when Valeri and Nastia had arrived at their hotel, Nastia hobbled over to Valeri and fell into him. "Thanks for understanding." She whispered, gazing up at Valeri. "That's what I'm here for." Valeri informed Nastia with a kiss on the forehead. Nastia walked away, heading into the nearest elevator in the lobby. The doors closed right as Valeri was about to follow Nastia. "Gah." Valeri said frustrated. When the doors finally opened, Nastia quickly made her way to the hotel room she was sharing with her parents, sliding the key card in and instantly collapsing on the bed. Anna looked up from the book she had been reading by the window. "What are you doing home so early? Don't you have a test event?" Nastia didn't even look up, instead burying her head back in the pillows. Her ankle was already swelling to two times it's regular size. "Ugh." Nastia said into the comforter. "Well, are you going to tell me what's wrong or are you going to sound like a panda having a seizure?" Anna asked, looking at Nastia. Valeri, who had just entered the room and was hanging up his WOGA windbreaker, snorted. "I'm going to take a shower. Let Dad tell you about my horrible meet." Nastia ruffled through her suitcase, pulling out pajamas, and retreated to the large bathroom, slamming the door. "In a bit of a dramatic mood, aren't me?" Valeri asked Anna, raising his eyebrows. Anna picked up her book, and layed back down in one swift motion, looking concerned. She ignored Valeri's inquiry. Valeri plopped onto the bed with a sigh and flipped the TV on. Nastia quickly showered. The warm water felt good to her throbbing ankle, and she weakly applied pressure to it. She tried to take her mind off the meet earlier, but was having trouble, her horrible landing on bars replaying over and over in her mind. "How could she have been so stupid?", she thought to herself, pulling her pjs on. As she entered the room, she directed her attention to the television. "Nastia Liukin, two time national champion, is back to defend her title...but can she beat new kid on the block, Shawn Johnson? She's coming back from an ankle injury and it has people questioning....is she simply too old for this sport?" Nastia grinded her teeth together, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill over, but failed. She knew her father would be angry at her for the display of emotion, and she tried to turn her head away from him. Nastia crawled into her own bed, still fighting the emotions about to overflow from her. She turned onto her side and faced the blank wall. It stared at her, seeming to mock her. Nastia closed her eyes, mentally performing her routines for hours. She sighed as she layed there alone in the dark, her parents already asleep. "I can do it." Nastia said, finally before exaughsted, she fell asleep. The next morning, Nastia awoke groggily, not wanting to get out of her bed and face the competition. Her ankle was already going to protest...she could tell already, and she hadn't even attempted to stand up yet. As she pushed herself out of bed, she winced. Her mother was already at the bar, eating a bowl of oatmeal slowly. She smiled at her daughter, nodding to a bowl next to her. "Care to join me?" Nastia shook her head. "Ice. Now." Anna drew back, startled. "O--Oh. Okay." Anna spit out, clamboring towards the mini fridge to get an ice pack Valeri had brought from home. It had rested on Nastia's ankle most of the car trip to the Airport. Nastia sighed in relief as the cold ice touched her scar. "I hate you." Nastia said to the ankle, still groggy and grumpy. Anna looked up from where she stood, eyes sparkling with tears. She hadn't noticed Nastia directing the statement at her ankle. She'd never heard her daughter say anything like that to her in the seventeen years she had known her. She racked her brain, trying to find a reason for Nastia to possibly hate her, but came up with nothing. "O-oh...okay. Well, I don't have to go to the meet," she responded, picking at her fingernails. Nastia glanced up looking confused and saw the look on her mother's face. "No, Mom." Nastia started. "NOOO. I was talking about my ankle." Anna's shoulders drooped in relief. She walked over to Nastia and hugged her. "Good!" Anna stated, happily. Nastia halfheartedly chatted throughout breakfast, trying to stay optimistic. It had never been this hard for her to think positively. Before Nastia knew it, it was time to head over to the arena. She leaned back in the passenger seat of Valeri's rented SUV, running through routines. But her mind kept wandering off, finding weak spots to criticize. "You can't do this." Her mind and ankle seemed to scream in unison. Nastia somehow managed to keep her emotions inside her as she limbed into the arena. She crinkled her brow in pain and fury as she climbed on top of the podium for open stretch. Christa and Nastia ran in silence, both focused on the meet ahead, both also rattling with nerves.

Gymdogs lost. Crap. Bama won. Double crap. I dislike Bama, haha.

So my friend was there, and she gave me the Details!

Grace Taylor almost fell on her mount, but had the strength to push it back up. 9.875. Tiffany got a 9.775, Kupets hit with a 9.9. Courtney McCool anchored, 9.75. Tiffany was nervous and bobbly, and McCool's turn was incomplete.

48.6 after beam.

Gymdogs continued on to hit floor, and recieve a 49.5, a season high, with senior Abby Stack scoring a 9.85 alongside Marcia Newby who scored the same. Hilary Mauro recovered after her fall, contributing a 9.9 for the team. Grace Taylor matched her career-high of 9.925. Kupets hit for a 9.95. They pulled Tiffany Tolany out of the lineup, and put in Marcia Newby.

Vault went okay. Courtney Kupets was the only one to hit a stick, pulling out a 9.95. Lauren Sessler started the rotation, with a 9.85. Kathryn Ding built on that, scoring another 9.85 for the team. Marcia Newby matched the scores of the first two teammates. Cassidy McComb recieved a 9.825 for her efforts. Tiffany Tolnay anchored to score another 9.85, to give the Gymdogs a 49.325.

Going into the final rotation, Marica Newby was the leadoff, starting UGA out with a 9.825. 9.925 from freshman Kathryn Ding, and they continued to build on that with a 9.875 from Gina Nuccio. Grace Taylor recieved a 9.875, and Tiffany Tolnay hit for a 9.9. Courtney Kupets closed the Gymdog's campgain for a SEC title with a 9.975, resulting in a 49.5.

Samantha Shapiro.

No, NO, NOOOOOOO. Nu.

This is not happening.

Samantha Shapiro broke her foot on a beam dismount in two places.

I can't talk, I'm so sad.

Randy Stageberg!

Randy Stageberg is a senior international elite gymnast from Virginia, who competed in the 2007 & 2008 National championships, and also in the 2008 US Olympic Trials! She made her Senior Elite debut at the Japan/New Zealand friendship meet in Houston, Texas. Randy recently signed with the University of Florida to host her NCAA Career!

I got the chance to interview this amazing gymnast(Thank youuu, Facebook!), which you can read below! :)

http://www.gymngina.us/randy/pics/08trialsp/01.jpg

What was it like competeting Elite gymnastics?

Randy:

Elite gymnastics was the most challenging and rewarding experience i have ever had. I learned a lot about myself through it and i feel really honored to of been a part of it.

What is the hardest skill you've had to learn?

Randy:
Probably my double piked arabain. It was not the hardest skill for me, but it was the highest skill i have ever competed.

Any new skills?

Randy:
I am recovering from a shoulder injury. It has been 4 months since the surgery, so I still have a month or two to go.

http://www.gymngina.us/randy/pics/08natsf/01.jpg

How did you choose Florida?

Randy:
I lovedddd Rhonda she is amazing, and the girls are so sweet. I only took one visit and it was to Florida after I already committed...it just felt right.

What do you think will be your favorite part of NCAA Gymnastics?

Randy:

NCAA will be a more relaxed and fun than elite was. it will still be challenging but it is all team for the most part.

Gymnastiaaaa.

Finn is her boyfriend who valeri caught abusing Nast, etc, etc, basically we aren't posting that part. It's so graphic

DEDICATED TO MEGAN. Lub yew.

Graphicness below.

"Ahhh." Nastia said, pulling her foot up immediately after placing weight on it. It had been 6 weeks since surgery, and the wound had healed, and the bone was supposed to be mended. "It's alright, you can do it" Valeri coaxed. "It just feels weird..I'm pretty sure it's healed." Nastia bit her lip, and closed her eyes tightly. She beared weight to the foot and hobbled for a couple of seconds. "It feels alright." Valeri beamed. "Great! Conditioning in a week on it once you get your bearings back. Then in 6 months, training!" He said enthusiastically. Nastia smiled. "Yesss! I've missed WOGA so much!" Then, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Nastia called. Nastia turned around, mouth open wide. "Fi-..Finn?" Finn walked in and Nastia stood there, gaping. Anna smiled. "Finn called to apologize..apparently Valeri-" She glared at Valeri "Had it all wrong. Nastia had just gotten out of the shower, fell and hit her head on the door. Then Finn tried to dry the blood with a hair dryer, and threw it to her for her to catch." Anna rolled her eyes. "Boys." She muttered. "Finn was in a bad mood because his parents had split up and his little sister had been taken away, which explained the storming around, and also his yelling at Valeri." Valeri smirked. "Yeah...I'm silly for jumping to conclusions..My babygirl wouldn't let herself be pushed around, Eh?" He said with a knock to Nastia's shoulder playfully. "Y-Yeah." Nastia stuttered. "Alright, well you two go on upstairs while I make dinner." Anna stated. Finn scooped up Nastia and carried her up the stairs so she wouldn't have to walk on the newly operated on ankle. "Thanks." she whispered. Once they had arrived, Finn set Nastia on the bed, but she pushed herself up and hobbled towards him. "I still love you." She said softly. "Shh..I know." Finn told Nastia. Nastia walked slowly backwards, keeping her eyes on the man who once had treated her..like..like dirt. Like someone who didn't have feelings. "But I can't trust you. And that overrules everything." Nastia growled. "Do you think I've effing FORGOTTEN what you did to me?" Nastia spat. "And you go and (***BAD WORD ALERT.***)fucking LIE to my parents?!" Finn looked around. "I cannot believe you." She hissed. "I'm SO going down to tell my parents the truth." Finn clenched his fists. "Listen." Nastia turned around. "I already did that once..didn't work out." Finn grabbed her shoulder and turned her around. "OW." she screamed. "Everything alright down there?" Valeri called from his upstairs office, sounding worried. "Yeah...Nastia's ankle is just hurting." Finn called. "Shut up." Nastia whisper-shouted. "No." Finn demanded. "You. You're such a fricking whiner. Blah blah blah you forced me blah blah blah." Nastia's eyes flared with anger. Finn grabbed a pen off of Nastia's desk, where her Algebra and Chemistry textbooks lied. She had been studying. Finn grasped the pen so tightly, his knuckles turned white. Nastia sniffled and gulped. Why had she let him up here? "So. You wanna contradict me, huh?" Finn asked threateningly. Nastia shook her head, pinned up against the doorway. Her ankle had given out and now she was sitting down. Finn crouched down to her level and stroked her hair. "I said, Do ya?" Nastia shook her head again. "No." she whispered. "Good. Because if you do, I think that scar may need to be restitched" he said, gazing at the long scar on Nastia's left ankle, clicking the pen loudly. Nastia inhaled sharply. "No..Finn..you can't...It might hurt my gym-" Nastia tried to say, but Finn cut her off. "What did I just say?" Nastia kept quiet. "Do you think I give a (**BAD WORD ALERT**)damn about gymnastics? It's not even a sport." "You know, that's where I draw the line." Nastia said, struggling to free herself from Finn's grasp. But he didn't let up. He slowly moved the pen towards her ankle. Nastia flailed around, ignoring the pain. "NO. Finn. Please." she whimpered. "You can't, please." Nastia begged. "Hey, didn't I tell you a while back-" he inched the pen closer. "Not." A centimeter closer. "To" Nastia closed her eyes, as Finn moved the pen closer, making contact with her stitched foot. "Tell." He dug the pen into her scar, making one single stitch snap. Nastia winced in pain, a single tear flowing down her cheek. "Me what to do." He finished, taking the pen out of her skin, the head covered in blood. Finn stormed out, throwing the pen down on the ground. "I'm leaving. Goodbye." "Sorry, I can't stay for idnner..important college meeting." Nastia heard Finn tell Anna sweetly. "That (**BAD WORD ALERT**)bastard." Nastia whispered, gently touching the blood pouring out of her ankle. It might as well been her trust for everything..just draining out of her heart. She couldn't believe somebody could hurt her in this way. She slowly got to her feet and tried to walk, but couldn’t. She winced in pain as she attempted to hobble to the stairs, but sat down on the steps. “Daddy?” She called upstairs, sucking in a breath. “Yeah babe?” Nastia let out one sob, knowing now that it would take much longer to heal. “I did something stupid.” Valeri showed up at the top of the stairs and looked down at his daughter, her ankle bleeding all over the white carpeting. “ANASTASIA!” he ran down the stairs, scooping her up in his arms to prevent the blood from going anywhere else, “What did you DO?!” Nastia cried, wincing in pain. “I’m sorry, it …itched. I scratched it.” Valeri’s face turned bright red with anger. “ I hope the anesthetic doesn’t work when they have to stitch this back up for being so stupid.” "I'M SORRY." Nastia screamed, eyes closed. "I'M SORRY I CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT. I'm..I'm just sorry." Nastia forced herself out of her Dad's arms, falling on the ground, on her knees and hands, with a *clunk*. She crawled quickly back to her bathroom, grabbed the whole roll of toilet paper, and held it against her ankle. She gasped and cried, staying like that for five minutes, ignoring Valeri's knocks and pleads of "Open the door." or "Let me come in." Nastia removed the toilet paper. The bleeding had stopped somewhat. She grabbed to the counter, and pulled herself up. Nastia hopped to her medicine cabinet, and pulled out some gauze the doctor had given her a while back. She pressed it her scar, and taped it in place. “Anastasia Valeryevna, open the door now.’ Nastia whimpered and opened it, sitting down against the counter. He picked her up again. “We need to get it restitched. Do I need to have them cast it so you don’t do that again?” Nastia shook her head. “No, I gotta train, daddy. I gotta condition.” Valeri shook his head. Nastia looked confused. “What do you mean No? I HAVE to! I have to come back! It’s like you always say..every second not spent training, is a time when other people are getting better than me! Please, I have to condition…I have to. I don’t want people to get better than me. I’m sorry!” "You can still condition with a cast on. We'll strap an equal amounted ankle weight to the other foot. It'll just add more difficulty to exercises." "Dad. No." Nastia wiled. "I can't do leg exercises with a cast. I. NEED. Leg exercises to get my tumbling and vault up." Valeri shook his head again. "I'm sorry..No..this is what you get...it's your own fault." Nastia groaned. “When can I train again?” she practically begged with her eyes as she wiped a tear away. She couldn’t believe this was happening. Why couldn’t he have just left her alone? She hadn’t done anything…he couldn’t have just stayed away? But yet…she still loved him. He still had her whole heart, no matter how many times he hurt her. She was the best thing to ever happen to her…or so she thought. She’d protect him. She wouldn’t tell anyone the truth. She didn’t want him to get in trouble…sighing, she let her father pick her up and carry her to the car. “Answer me truthfully, Dad.” Valeri sighed. He shook his head. "Could be one month, could be eight. More than likely eight." Nastia bit her lip. Valeri carried her downstairs and plopped her on the couch, explaining to Anna how the sticthes came out. Anna rolled her eyes. "When are you going to learn?!" Nastia ignored her with a huff. Then, Hollie walked through the door. She looked around, and her eyes fell on Nastia, with bloodstained gauze around her ankle. "Ah, god, Nast." Nastia waved sheepishly. "What the hell did you do?" "I--I scratched the the stitches because the were bothering me. They itched." Nastia lied. Hollie shook her head and gave Nastia and eye of "I don't believe you". Nastia just turned away. "Dad?" Nastia asked. "Mm?" Valeri asked in return. "Can..Can you carry me upstairs?" Valeri sighed. "God, fine." After he had dumped Nastia on her bed, Hollie walked over towards her and sat next to Nastia. Hollie massaged Nastia's shoulders, but Nastia pushed away. "What really happened?" Hollie whispered. Nastia shook her head, then gave in. "Okay..." She said softly, wringing her hands together. "Finn..Finn..he did this. I called him out for that one night a year ago, and he just...ripped them out." Hollie's eyes were wide, and she embraced Nastia tightly. "And, Hollie, I don't know if I can do this anymore." Hollie released Nastia. "What do you mean? You have a chance to win. it. all. You can do this, Nastia, I believe in you." Nastia shook her head. "I just don't know Hollie. I thought I always knew my goals, I always wanted to have a simple life. Wake up, Eat, Gymnastics, School, Eat, Gymnastics, Sleep. That's all I ever wanted. Then I cursed my life for being boring. I wanted more. And now..Finn. He changed my life around. I love him, and I want to devote everything to him. He's mine..and I can't let him get away. He's the reason. I'm even HERE." Hollie exhaled sharply. "Nas. Please don't do this. He's using you." "NO. He's not. He loves me, he just has a temper, please..don't tell. Please." Nastia begged. "Okay. But I do think he's brainwashing you." Hollie said, looking uncomfortable. "I...Think I want to stop doing gymnastics. I'll fly out to UCLA and live in L.A. until college." "Nastia, no. I'll let you visit him, but please, you cannot stop doing gym. You have a talent. And deep down, under your scars and injuries, there's a passion. Nastia, you have a chance to make it. To become an Olympian." Nastia looked up at Hollie, tears welling in her eyes. They were remembering that day in July...2004. "My world came crashing down." Hollie whispered. "Nas...Marta loves you." Hollie said her eyes flaring in anger. But then, they watered down again, tears flowing. "Nastia. Just..if anything..Just do it for me." And with that, Hollie walked out of the room in silence, leaving Nastia in tears.

Copyright to Megan and I..blah blah blah..basically don't steal it or I'm suing.

Bye-Bye!

We'll miss those seniors.

Tiffany Tolnay- Good vault, large step. Nice bars, really deserved a ten. Good beam, wobble on front tuck, step on dismount. Started crying after floor.

Well.

Shawn did better than I thought she would. No epic fails to speak of.

Here are the deets, courtesy of USA Gymnastics. I don't own anything. :)

Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson performed with her partner Mark Ballas on the season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night, March 9, on ABC. They received 23 points from the judges, tied for second out of the 13 couples. The judges' scores alone do not decide if the couple stays around. Phone lines and text votes are open to fans from the beginning of each show until 30 minutes after. Online voting will remain open until noon ET the next day. Johnson and Ballas, along with the rest of the competitors, will perform again on Monday, March 16. Following another round of voting, the "Dancing with the Stars Results Show" will premiere on Tuesday, March 17. The two couples with the lowest combined scores from judges and viewers votes will compete in a Dance Off. Their original set of judges scores will be tossed out and they will perform the same routine again for a new set of judges scores. The new set of scores will be combined with their viewer votes from Monday night and the couple with the lowest combined total will be eliminated.

198!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gymdogs pwn.

Courtney Kupets- Nice vault, had she have stuck it woulda been a Ten. Bars was good, missed a handstand. Beam...had a wobble on the dismount. Floor = Ten! Shouldn't have been a ten. She had an eensy step on the double pike.

Tiffany Tolnay- Good vault, Samantha Peszek step back on Yurchenko full. Bars was great, just a step on the dismount. Hit the overshoot dead on. Beam was great, a bit low on the punch front but overall awesome. Floor was amazing, perfect double arabian. Nice 2.5 to front tuck. Ended with a double tuck instead of double pike.

Paige Burns- GREAT BEAM. She got her career high of 9.825! Wobble on the series, hit the tour de jete or whatever it's called awesomely.

Abby Stack- Woo! floor! Speed racer! Perfect triple full, rotated it right around. Nice double full to front tuck. The greatest ending double pike I've seen her do.

Grace Taylor- Bars would have been a ten had she not had a tiny step on her dismount, a double layout. Every handstand was hit. Beammy Beamers- Good series, little pause before leg up full turn to layout stepout. Wobble on switch leap to straddle jump Wobble on heel-stretch, front aerial, standing back layout stepout. Floor- CAREER HIGH 9.925! Woot! Ten if she hadn't "Pogoed" out of the whip though to double pike.

Marcia Newby- Good vault. Career high 9.925 floor. Great whip to double twist.

Lauren Johnson- Warm-up vaults looked great! I love her form. :)

Lauren Sessler- Amazing vault, almost stuck!

Courtney McCool- She's baaaaaaaaaaaaack. Bars was really good, she had one little slip-up on a toe-shoot, but her geinger was so good and the bail was amazing.

Hilary Mauro- AHHHH. ONE AND A HALF YURCHENKO STUCK! Great beam..9.9!!!!! Good floor, had a little mistake on her second pass.

Cassidy Mccomb- No compete-o. =[ Sparined right knee? I think.

Final American Cup.

Jordyn did well. I'll give her that. But she was overscored.

And what was up with the coaches not moving the springboard during her routine?! You can go to Andrea's channel, and go to the video entitled "Jordyn Wieber" and see. Isn't that a deduction? 3 tenths in collegiate, I know that. A UF girl got docked.

And, zomg, these people get footage up FAST!!! I'm downloading Bridget's vault and floor at the moment. =]

(Jordyn with Fabian Hamburgerchun or w/e his name is.)

And, due to popular demandddd, here is my signed cast. :)
